'BUILDING BLOCKS' Needlepoint Kit

Welcome to the Building Blocks kit! The aim of this modular design is to allow to ‘build’ your own design with the block provided, enabling you to create a completely unique piece of stitched work. You can arrange the 2 x 2 inch blocks in whichever way you choose - blocks can be rotated, mirrored or repeated, the possibilities are endless!

What the ‘full kit’ option contains:

The full kit is currently slightly reduced as it doesn’t yet have the fully printed belly band packaging. It contains:

- 50 x 50 cm 12 hpi plain interlock canvas

- 10 different colours of Appletons 100% 4 ply tapestry wool - enough to complete a design of 6 x 6 blocks (30 x 30 cm)

- 2 x size 22 tapestry needles

- Full colour charts for 12 different blocks

- Full colour needlepoint stitch instructions

- 2 examples of block layouts

- Design instructions

- Hand screen printed A4 box to keep your project safe

What the ‘chart only’ option contains:

- Full colour charts for 12 different blocks

- Full colour needlepoint stitch instructions

- Wool information (quantities and colours)

- 2 examples of block layouts

- Design instructions

- A handy sewn pouch to keep it in

The example shown in the pictures is 6 x 6 blocks, creating a design of 12 x 12 inches, perfect for either making up into a cushion or framing as an artwork. The example shown is worked on 12 hpi Zweigart interlock canvas.
